Is Equality In The Courting Phase Of Dating Real?

If we have reached “equality”(whatever this word actually means to you) in this world so far as the concept of women doing what men can do (and supposedly better — as the statement goes). Then why are we still operating on the so called “traditional” way of doing things in the courting phase in the world of dating.

Why are women not approaching men, instead of giving sublet hints?

Why don’t women send the first message on a dating site?

Why don’t women plan the date?

Why don’t women pay on the first date?

Send a message after the date?

and so on…

A/N (I am keenly aware that the sample size of women I have asked wasn’t large. That should frankly be obvious: I am not someone in the field of social science, I am a man searching for answers to my questions. However if you want to fire of a kneejerk reaction to this article without reading it at least 3 times, you are free to do so)

Why don’t women do all the “traditional” things they expect of men, since we are in the great age of equality.

These are questions I have asked many women in my own life specifically those that I know are of the modern feminist variant, to find an understanding.
